When Music Finds You

A song can hold a beat that settles somewhere inside you,

as though it’s a language of its own.

Sometimes, even without lyrics,

you feel something deep within —

it pulls at you, as if trying to tell you

something familiar.

You don’t really know what it is,

but somehow it finds its way to your heart

and touches you.

I love when music has meaning through what I am feeling as it plays, without words —

when its message arrives only through sound.

That’s when I become curious

about what is calling me inward.

It can't be the story that draws me,

for there are no words,

but the melody itself —

its rhythm, its pulse,

the invisible way it reaches for me.

And as I listen,

I begin to wonder what part of me it’s touching.

Somewhere in that moment,

music finds a hidden corner of my being —

a quiet place I hadn’t met before —

and I become interested in knowing her.

Because sometimes music doesn’t speak to us,

it reveals itself.
