Love Songs

I wonder… do most people believe love songs come from a good songwriter?

It feels so shallow to think a love song was just written quickly,

by someone who knows how to string words together for a slow dance.

But I wonder…

If they were created through the souls of eternity—

And maybe God whispers into the ear?

He actually finds his earthly ear,

and this is the birth of a song

What if there are souls from heaven, good people.

The words God whispered into the ear

were actually the promise He gave

to the two souls that loved each other so deeply—

that when one returned to Jesus

He made them a promise because of their loss—

“I will make songs out of your love.”

So maybe it’s not just a love song.

Maybe it’s a vow.

A memory.

A message from heaven.

Because eternal Love, never ends

….it just becomes A Song
