ONLY YOU

How is it that You speak to me in so many ways? Not language, nor words, nor sound, yet undeniable.

Even when the volume of Your presence is turned down, and Your whispers are faint, I hear You.

Not with words, but felt—like the gentle breath upon my shoulder.

There is a quiet knowing, a sense that I have always been seen.Eyes.Familiar eyes. Watching not to judge, but to remain near.

And I am assured that You have always known me—all of me.

The parts I have revealed, and the parts I have hidden, the joys, the wounds, and the questions.

ONLY YOU have known them all.

And ONLY YOU can hold me with the grace that ONLY YOU can give.
