THE WEAVER OF TIME

Once again Autumn Falls

Seasons come and go
faster than the miracle of life
can form from day to day.

Does the weaver of time
slow each morning,
drawing out its hours
beyond what imagination can hold?

A leaf takes its time
loosening from the branch.
It turns once in the air,
and another fall is here.

Yet beneath the waiting,
roots are deepening in the dark.
What seems like stillness
is becoming—
and when the season turns,
we rise transformed.
