THE LIGHTHOUSE NEVER CHANGES

There is a soul
that cannot find its way,
yet somehow understands the path—
as though it remembers
where it has never been.

And there is a light
standing faithfully in the distance,
asking nothing of the darkness,
proving nothing to the sea,
only shining.

Perhaps this is how love lives—
not always in the reaching,
not always in the arrival,
but in the quiet recognition
of where the heart belongs.

The soul may wander.
The waters may rise.
The shore may disappear from sight.
Still, the light remains—
not calling love lost,
only trusting what it knows.

For love does not need
to leave its sacred place
to guide another home.

It honors the path.
It honors the soul.
And through every darkness,
it shines.
