Finding Energy in All Life

When we become aware of the different energies we carry within,

we begin to understand they were planted there

from God’s blueprint in each of us.

God created the world around us with its own current,

and when our hearts are open enough,

we can feel that current running through our veins.

The ripple of water holds us steady in times of need.

When the sun’s rays rest warm upon our bodies,

we can draw its energy inward

and be filled with the same light God placed in the sun.

The moon’s glow offers a gentler version of that light,

soft and tender,

whispering secrets we have always shared with it.

The stars shine with a brightness

that calls us to lift our wishes upward,

hoping they might be fulfilled.

Perhaps finding this energy in all of life

has always been our true calling

as we walk this earth —

to remember, again and again,

that God’s current flows in everything

and in us.
