Life’s Views
Life Through a Window
Is life but a window we view from the inside?
From within, we feel safe—held by our own perception, untouched by the world beyond the glass. We observe, we interpret, and we create meaning from a distance. Inside, we are sheltered by what we believe life to be.
And yet, there are moments when life shifts…
when the window becomes more than something we look through.
At times, life feels like a mirror—quietly placed before us for our own understanding. A mirror does not lie. It reflects not only what we see, but what we have yet to recognize. It reveals parts of ourselves we may have never known, or perhaps never been ready to face. In its reflection, we begin to see beyond who we were told we are… and glimpse who we truly might be.
And then, there are the doors.
Doors in life can feel intimidating. Thresholds we stand before, unsure of what lies beyond them. There is no clear view, no certainty—only the quiet pull to step forward. These are the mysteries of life… the unforgettable moments that change us. Some bring joy, others bring pain, but all leave a mark. All shape us.
What I have come to understand is this:
Every step we take, every window we look through, every mirror we face, and every door we walk through—each plays a role in the life we are living.
The window invites us to observe and reflect on what makes us who we are.
The mirror shows us the truth, helping us discover not only who we are—but who we are not.
And the doors… they lead us into experience—into growth, into the unknown, into becoming.
Each doorway we pass through becomes a moment we carry with us—an imprint of something learned, something felt, something transformed.
If we begin to see these not as obstacles, but as tools given by God—
then life is no longer something happening to us…
It becomes something guiding us.
And in that understanding, life becomes full.
Life becomes meaningful.
Life becomes sacred.
Life becomes True.
